It's Halloween day today! Happy Halloween, guys!
I'm not celebrating Halloween here due to my exam period. But my sis went for her Halloween party on Saturday! Lucky thing she is!
I've been studying really hard these two weeks for my exams.
Thing is, I'm having my very
first uni exam on Saturday. I'm half excited and half nervous. Oh well, I should be fine, since I've been studying really hard.
Alright, I know this is quite a short one, but I've gotta go..Get back to my lecture materials, that is. =)

It's my study period this week, and QUT will have our official start of the exams next week.
Anyway, currently, I've moved up with my sister to stay with my neighbours upstairs. As I've said we've found two Indians to replace us in our room, so we just thought we'd give it up to them.
Thing is, our previous housemates think that my sister is irresponsible by telling them at the last minute as to who are moving in. I mean, it's ridiculous. Even for ourselves, we just knew it a few days ago.
Okie, the main point, Im really pissed about is one of the racist remarks one of them made. It really pissed my sister and myself off. The housemates were saying that Indians are quite dirty/unhygenic...which is sooooo NOT TRUE! Yes, although we're chinese, we feel pissed and frustrated that they can actually be such racist and shallow people existing in this world! Had related the whole story to our neighbours, who are 6 Singaporean Indians, and 2 Singaporean chinese.
I mean, c'mon. It's just soo childish. All of us were then talking about them from there. We were just saying these are the kind of people who can't work well in the workforce, being so racist, and unadaptive to the environment. It's just sooo ridiculous.
Well, I believe in Karma.

I've been rather busy lately. Just had a test in the morning yesterday, with a weightage of 20%, based on the module of Information Security.
This is my official last week of the semester 2, 2006. Like, woah..it's been
months hey?
Anyway, the update about me here is, I've got atrociously inconsiderate housemates. Long story, but the
main points about them are:
-Blasting their music till late 2-2ish in the morning(yes, telling that to turn it down, would just be good for a 5-10 min, and after that, it will be back to the top volume)
-Scolding vulgarities
-Playing XBox games(and Poker, etc..) and screaming out loudly like no one's business
-Taking our food stuffs when we're not even sharing the groceries with them at all
-Making use of my sister to fetch them around
-Tendency of borrowing money and not wanting to return
-Not cleaning up the kitchen after cooking each time
*~This is just an exhaustive list.
And all these things happens
almost every night/day.
And apart from these, the thing is, when we're all at home, it's like we all treating each other like all of us are invisible or something. If u get what I mean. Like, c'mon..at least look up to acknowledge someone's presence, say a hi or even a simple thing like a smile. Don't you think so? Oh well, I guess all of us know that it is definitely a different thing between living with outsiders(or friends) and just going out with an outsider(friend) for an hour or two. If u get what I mean.
Anyway, thing is, my sister and I would be moving out to West End, another suburb, together with our neighbours, on the 18th November(Effectively for my case, it's next semester). We've already paid for the apartment there. And for our current room, we had managed to get two Indians to move in, one of them has got really nice attractive eyes!;) Alright, I shall stop my fetishes for now and get serious. And so, we had packed up all our stuffs into boxes and will be moving up into our neighbours' place tomorrow morning and staying there temporarily until the end of my exams, on the 15th, and from there we'll see if we can get the tenant to let us move in to the place even before the 18th, but after the 15th.
Oh well, we'll see. For now, I just can't wait to get out of this place. =)
On a separate note, my exams are nearing. In exactly two weeks' time that is. So yeah, I reckon I've got some stuffs to settle right now..So yeap, I'll just try to update whenever possible. Cheerz guys!

I'm having a test(on Information Security) tomorrow morning and here I am blogging. haha.
Oh well, and let's see what's worse. Tell me about it. I went to my friend's place at Unilodge which is in the city. Was supposed to head home after discussing some answers with her. BUT -- who could resist hitting the malls at Queen Street hey? I would look up to you if you could.
And so to speak, I had gone for an hour's of retail therapy. Bought a few stuffs. In particular, shoes - a lady's MUST-HAVE. Have been wanting to get shoes like that. Pointed front and covered, with a tip of height for the heel. Awesome!
Hmz. I'll just show you the pics now. And I'll take my dinner and then head back to the unit materials.
Here it is:
My pair of red shoes
From a different angle, just to show you the height(not that high after all)
My pair of Bronze shoes
Yes, it's the same design, just a difference in the colour.
My pair of net-variated stockings
A pair of normal black stockings
Finally, a last pair.
I just can't wait for exams to be over for more shopping and dressing up!

G'day! How are you?
To start with, it's very SOON before I get back. I'm not that excited at all. I'm just neutral, taking it as it comes. But yes, I do miss my family and some of my dearest friends. I have even prepared a list of a 'must-meet' and an 'optional' list. Thing is, within the first seven days that I'm back, I would be busy settling down with things, also, helping my eldest sister with her wedding preparations, which I reckon, would consume the most of my time within that seven days.
Anyway, I will tell u about it when the date is nearer. It's just about a month and a week.
On a separate note, David(Dickie) gave me a lift home on Friday after the same lecture we had. We had our usual chatty talk on the way back. We were discussing about the typical designer goods from Italy, brands like Prada and Gucci. I was telling him, like it's sad that Brisbane hasn't actually got a Prada shop over here. And he went like, "yeah, I reckon even if they had it here, it wouldn't sell well.".. And I agreed, and said that it's because the locals here are not at all brand conscious - which is a good thing - I added. Just thought I would share with you guys what are the little talks we share. I love chatting with him. Like, he brightens my day. No, get it straight -- We are just friends. We just love teasing and poking fun of each other. And yeah, the main point is, there's nothing going on, and
never will anything happen. =)
Anyway, my apartment block, which consists of just 4 units, we had a Singaporean dinner feast last night. My sister invited some of her friends over - Cris & Diega, the Brazilian couple, Fernanda & Estaban, the Mexican couple, and Hemena, a Chilean gal(Chile). My neighourbours made curry chicken, spare Ribs, Tauhu Goreng. My sister fried some noodles(the typical yellow chinese noodle) while I made honeydew with sago cream. Tauhu Goreng. Talking about it. I didn't know it existed until my Indian neighbour were telling us(my sister and I) about it. Yes, it was only my sister and I being the only ignorant ones. I snapped some pictures but not everything that was cooked. I'll show it to you at the end of this entry.
Right now, I'll have to get back to studying for my Information Security test, which will be held on Friday.
Spare Ribs
Curry Chicken
The noodles that my sister had fried
The pot of dessert that I had made - Honeydew with Sago Cream. It was my first time and I got compliments for it! C'mon, give me some credit!
Cheerz guys. Enjoy ~

I haven't been blogging lately. No excuses I know.
Well, come to think about it, I don't know what I've been up to either. ha.
Had my mid-semester break last week, and it's all over too soon. Theoretically, this is week 11 of the academic semester, meaning I've been here for 13 weeks(the orientation week + week break) so far. And so far so good. Meaning, it would be 6 more weeks to returning. This is scary.
My first examination paper is on the 4th of November, second paper is on the 7th, the third paper is on the 11th and the last is on the 15th of November. That all, just means that I'm left with three pathetic days to roam around to do shopping, or even less.
Oh well, at least there's shopping for me hey? I reckon that's the only thing that I can look forward to. =)
